We were talking with our new neighbors this morning on the way out…she makes stained glass! She showed me a beautiful piece with a yellow flower and a hummingbird hanging in her window. You could see the excitement and energy in her eyes as she described how she created it from thin air, no pattern to guide her. I don’t know her well yet, but I admire her way of not taking the blazed trail.
These orchids seem like her work, perfectly arranged and intricately made. God does make and do wonderful things, not only with nature-but with each of us!
Hoping you’re having a fab weekend, it ain’t over yet! There’s plenty more time to sit down, chill out, and have that lemonade in the shade…come on over and sit a spell! Here’s a recipe for some homemade inspiration…I love it with 1/2 Luzianne iced tea. That classic Arnold Palmer is my fav!
Ingredients for the Perfect Lemonade
2 cups sugar
1 cup hot water
2 cups fresh lemon juice
1 gallon cold water
1 lemon, sliced
Mint sprigs, for garnish
In a 1 gallon container, place sugar and hot water, and stir until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice and cold water to render 1 gallon. Stir until well mixed. Pour lemonade over glasses of ice, squeeze slice of lemon on top of each.
Much love to you and the fam! Talk with you tomorrow! XO!
