A little about me, in case you care. I’m a professional photographer, author, film producer and commercial art director, and screenwriter. I tend to wear a lot of hats, but I like keeping busy.
God’s called me to a special project, so I’ve pretty much put the advertising campaigns on hold for now to focus on it. I love making commercials, but in the end of time here (let’s face it, we are at the end of the grace period on Earth) I feel it’s necessary for the message of peace, hope and God’s love to come first.
I am on a mission to capture and share the things that surround us every day, but that we get too busy to notice. I use only natural lighting, don’t manipulate the subject or surroundings and never photoshop a thing. The elemental grace and beauty of the subject are showcased and defined. It’s sort of bizarre seeing things in such a private way so publicly. It’s a true glimpse of the inner spirit of things. I never know what I’m going to find, I don’t plan shoots, I just go. It’s never what I expected and always more than I’d hoped for. The elemental beauty I’ve found needs to be shared, so I’ve published a book and started a blog…
I’ll usually post a new shot everyday with my blog post and I set up a gallery page called ‘Random Beauty’ where you can see some of the things I’ve noticed lately. There’s a slideshow page as well, where you can see some compilations from the calling. I’ve made a leap to WordPress from Squarespace, which I paid for-but found very user unfriendly…patience dear one. Less stress is key. Life is supposed to be fun!
